Broke Sanity

If you think education is difficult, try being stupid ...

So its good, but is it for real?

without comments

That’s what I thought when I first got involved, but as I stated in a previous post, very little checking had me assured that it was a good deal. Hell, it’s a steal!

Here’s the scoop on it, ya know, in case you missed it the last time.

You pay at most $55 and for that you get to list your home for sale or rent on a quality website without having to worry about getting skipped over for the featured listings that cost twice as much, or more! That’s right, this site doesn’t charge you a different amount just because you only have one house to rent, than if you had 200 houses to sale; it’s just $55 for anyone. Actually, it’s only $25 if you’re listing the house for rent; how about that?

What about the owner you say? Well, the owner is a down to earth professional that comes from a real estate and mortgage background. The need was to have a website that was cheap to list on, contained listings nationwide, and didn’t bother with paid promotion and instead went with equality for all. I know, equality for all means that your ad will just fade into the background with all the other ads, right? Absolutely not!

It means that people searching for a home to buy or rent can actually find the home they are looking for. They don’t have to sort through the over-paid ads that are crammed into every search results page regardless of whether or not they fit your search criteria. These potential buyers and renters just enter the where, what, and how much and get the ads that match. That’s it! Simple, right?

As for the sellers, you pay one low fee per listing; no hidden fees or recurring charges. That low fee keeps your listing active and equal until it sells or rents! No gimmicks, no discounts, and no scams. As far as the real estate market goes, it looks like someone finally got it right. And it couldn’t have happened at a better time either, what with the mortgage industry in the shape that it’s in, and credit scores getting lower and lower, who couldn’t use a fresh batch of endless potential buyers and renters?

So go check it out, see what you think, and when you’re ready to start saving money just sign up. Even if your house takes a year to go, with any other service you would be paying upwards of $1,000 to keep that ad active for a year, and it would still get bumped down by the “featured” listings. With this service, you’ll only pay $55 … no more.

Sell or Rent with MyHomeSeeker.com. I won’t lie to you; I’m an affiliate and I get paid a couple of bucks for everyone that I send their way. Wonder if I can get them to start paying me for these posts? Oh well …

Oh No Senior

without comments

I’ve been neglecting my duties to this site lately. And what can I say, other than that it has been a rough and weird couple of weeks since I was treated to the Cowboys vs. Eagles game. But where to start, that is the question of the hour.

No sense in trying to timeline any of it, as if anyone really cares about the order of events, and yes, I do realize that quite possibly even the events themselves will go unnoticed, oh well.

I was contacted by my aunt, with whom I had not spoken to since my daughter was born 2 ½ years ago. Not because of any hardship or ill feelings, though to say that ill feelings don’t exist would be a lie of such enormous proportions that I can’t even fathom how to be properly angry anymore. It’s an issue that has quite literally been dead and buried for eight years now, no sense in remembering the worst of ones life over the good.

The email was cryptic, she said she had been trying to reach me and that she had undergone a medical condition of some sort that has kept her from getting out much, and asked how the family was doing. I hadn’t realized that she had lost contact with even those who she had remained close to after past conflicts.

Through another family member, not this aunt of mine, we learned that her medical ordeal was actually a brain tumor, and since responding to her initial email, she has since yet to reply and inform me of this, or anything else, herself. My first thought of the cancer is that some how things might be related; no doubt a thought she too has had at some point.

Are You Ready For Some Football

without comments

Damn I love me some good football!

I particularly love a good football game featuring my favorite team and one of their greatest rivals played on Monday night. On Monday night I don’t have to call in sick or take a vacation day since I’m already off on Monday’s.

The game started out right too, which quickly turned sour for the Boys in blue once Romo threw that interception and then fumbled the ball, but not just once; try twice on the same play. I can still hear the ESPN game announcers griping over him trying to salvage the play. To them it was a smarter play to simply give the E-Gals their safety instead of trying to avoid it.

And even though his efforts ended with a defensive touchdown I say he did the right thing. He isn’t the starting quarterback for the Cowboys because he gives up or settles for just anything. Does anyone else remember the last time Romo fumbled a snap? He recovered and made a great throw down the sideline for a third down conversion.

So history didn’t repeat itself, it started a trend that ended with the Cowboys winning the game 41-37. Romo had yet to beat the Eagles at home. It was also nice to see a couple of other things. T.O. is now second on the all time receiving touchdowns list behind only Jerry Rice, the wide out God back in his prime. Also Felix Jones and his very nice and nearly untouched 98 yard kick return for the score; that kid is fast.

It does suck that Roy “Horse Collar” Williams broke his arm though; he was starting to really shape up his coverage skills. Okay, but at least he isn’t a liability anymore. That’s all I’m saying.
