CBC Is Taking Notice

without comments

YAY! I was doing some checking and found that I’ve gotten more attention on this than I expected. McDonald Sanders, a law firm in Fort Worth, Texas has been on my site to view my “CBC Wants Your Rightsblog entry.

What’s even more telling about this, is that someone found the post, and emailed to a user on the firms web site, who then visited the post as well. Further, that law firm likes to take the side of the employer as its clients, and while I have no proof that they represent CBC in any capacity, I have to wonder.

I did some reading on www.mcdonaldlaw.com and found that they handle policy and non-disclosure issues for its clients. I think it’s funny because I actually believe that CBC is going to try to retaliate for me posting this stuff on here.

I can understand how the memo I posted could violate an employees non-disclosure agreement, but I wonder if the fact that no employee of CBC had any knowledge of my intentions to expose this policy publicly would have an impact on the situation?

It’s nice to know that people can still recognize when they are busted, though it doesn’t matter until CBC actually makes a change that is within the scope of all applicable laws. As of right now, they are not legally justified, and I believe that due to cost analysis, they knew it even before they enacted the new policy.

I guess the cost of raping employee rights is going to outweigh the rewards after all, Huh Dr. Sayers?
