Broke Sanity

Welcome to the end of the thought process ...

Oh No Senior

without comments

I’ve been neglecting my duties to this site lately. And what can I say, other than that it has been a rough and weird couple of weeks since I was treated to the Cowboys vs. Eagles game. But where to start, that is the question of the hour.

No sense in trying to timeline any of it, as if anyone really cares about the order of events, and yes, I do realize that quite possibly even the events themselves will go unnoticed, oh well.

I was contacted by my aunt, with whom I had not spoken to since my daughter was born 2 ½ years ago. Not because of any hardship or ill feelings, though to say that ill feelings don’t exist would be a lie of such enormous proportions that I can’t even fathom how to be properly angry anymore. It’s an issue that has quite literally been dead and buried for eight years now, no sense in remembering the worst of ones life over the good.

The email was cryptic, she said she had been trying to reach me and that she had undergone a medical condition of some sort that has kept her from getting out much, and asked how the family was doing. I hadn’t realized that she had lost contact with even those who she had remained close to after past conflicts.

Through another family member, not this aunt of mine, we learned that her medical ordeal was actually a brain tumor, and since responding to her initial email, she has since yet to reply and inform me of this, or anything else, herself. My first thought of the cancer is that some how things might be related; no doubt a thought she too has had at some point.

I finally found out what it’s like to have a car repossessed. Of course, I’m searching for a lawyer to take care of it. Somehow, losing a vehicle because a contract was outright changed (amounts changed; buyers swapped, removed, and added) and I chose to not pay until they stopped refusing to at least give me a copy of the “new” contract just doesn’t seem legal. Maybe that’s just me.

So now my wife has to drive my truck, which is a difficult transition for her given that it is older and drives as such. Of course we were both reminded of karma when she first sat in the drivers seat, tilted the back up, and the mechanism that slows for the back of the seat to be adjusted broke instantaneously. I suppose it would have broken the next time it was moved anyway, since I never did move it once getting it set to begin with.

I’ve put in two weeks notice at my job and lined up another, while starting to loudly object to the reasons for which I have decided to quit. There’s just something about being convinced to apply for a management position by the Operations Manager and Human Resources Director, only to be denied even a discussion of any length to reveal why my application went unanswered, that doesn’t seem quite right.

I got into some audio chopping, mixing, and recording for a friend who needed some promo material, and he actually talked me up about a good job opportunity that may just open itself up for me in the near future. It is currently unclear what the status may be on that. We shall see.

I screwed around with my finals for this block of classes and likely suffered a huge hit to my GPA as a result. Getting a lesser grade on many assignments because an instructor goes against the rules, only to have the university back him up, just doesn’t seem fair. Actually it seems like something that should make me seriously reconsider going this route at all, and I have begun to do so. More details can be found in my article titled “Teacher Spanks Pupil, A UoP Saga.”

And to top it all off, I’ve spent the last week tirelessly working to make the most out of another opportunity. I actually wrote a brief entry about it just two before this one. It’s a real estate marketing system that has a ton of potential, and with my help, it may very well have just a little more, at least I hope. Seems the founder agrees as she’s been right on queue with me every step of the way.

I’ve put one site together for it, and helped to get another straightened out, all while planning a big splash that I am all to eager to make this next Friday.

All in all, it has been a busy two weeks, and while I’ve found time to mess around with the Mobster’s app on MySpace, I just haven’t found sufficient time or motivation to update my poor little blog here. My apologies.

And now for the real reason that I am writing this entry. I am going to do my best to fart in the direction of a cop, and I use the word “cop” because I know how disrespectful that term is to them, and because I want to show them exactly the amount of disrespect that they deserve!

Cops in W. Va. Actually charged a man with battery for farting, and then fanning his fumes towards a cop. I suppose there are two important pieces of information to relay about this. One, the D.A. requested the charge be dropped right away, and Two, the guy was there for a Breathalyzer test. I wish I could remember the last time I was drunk and didn’t act inappropriately.

These chicken shit cops need to shut up and do their jobs. So someone farted, big fucking deal! People these days seem to be getting so caught up in their own ability to smell, that they forget other’s right to live.
