It’s Gone Too Far on Law Librarian Blog

I found this article through digg, and while I question its merits, I like that people can admit something like this person did. It is a link worth checking out for anyone who interested in the anti-smoking movement that is rapidly growing beyond the protection of our freedoms.

Take a look at it, it’s actually a fairly short article, but it gets right down the to the point. A law researcher gave the okay for a medical facility to ban smoking by its employees, both on site, even if inside their cars, and off site since an employee smelling like smoke could be disciplined. The researcher found no laws to prohibit such an action, and according to this article, that led to the movement on state wide smoking bans.
